      Description

      The CMIC at Stony Brook University is a comprehensive core service center managed by the Office of Scientific Affairs (OSA) in the Renaissance School of Medicine. It offers a wide range of multiscale microscopy services, including confocal microscopy, two-photon microscopy, super-resolution microscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), focused ion beam-scanning electron microscopy (FIB-SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), electron microscopy sample preparation, and thermomechanical analysis. With state-of-the-art microscopy instrumentation. CMIC serves both internal and external clients across the fields of medicine, life sciences, engineering, physics, and chemistry. The primary goal of the CMIC is to facilitate and support the research at Stony Brook University, as well as throughout Long Island and beyond.
