Abstract
The work of Soviet physicist Yuri Orlov in the field of physics is discussed. As a university science student he worked at the Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP). Orlov was part of g-2 experiment at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. His task was to study the resonances in the accelerator ring that stored the muons. He contributed to the spin physics of the particles as well as to the two methods of data analysis.
