Abstract

Cardiac arrhythmias are challenging to diagnose and treat. The author reviews the advances in devices used to diagnose and treat this condition over the past decade. The devices covered include implantable loop recorders, pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, and automatic external defibrillators.
