Abstract
The approach to groin pain, known as “athletic pubalgia,” requires a broad and deliberate understanding of the muscular and bony structures that encompass the area between the umbilicus and the mid-thigh. Clinical history, physical exam, and imaging are key in guiding the proper diagnosis that will lead to management modality.
