Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Three case reports provided by the authors of 'Conversion-Related Thromboembolism in Patients with Atrial Fibrillation Lasting Less Than 48 Hours' suggest the type of patient with atrial fibrillation who may be at risk for thromboembolism. All were women, elderly, and with varying degrees of valvular heart disease. They converted to sinus rhythm after a period of atrial fibrillation lasting less than 48 hours.
