Abstract
In an attempt to assess further the possible usefulness of sonographic techniques for the diagnosis of allograft rejection, 95 ultrasound studies were performed in 29 consecutive renal transplant recipients, and the results were compared with the concurrent histological status of each kidney, as determined by core needle biopsies of the organs under consideration.
