Abstract
The change in crystal orientation of poly(ethylene dioxide) (PEO) in polystyrene (PS) diblock copolymers was investigated. The morphology of these copolymers was found to be a lamellar structure which was detected through small angle X ray scattering (SAXS) experiments. The change in crystal orientation of PEO chain from homogeneous c-axis to homeotropic c-axis was observed. The change was found to be the effect of primary nucleation and crystal growth processes of the PEO blocks for developing maximum crystallinity.
