Abstract
Rossie and Hill (2018: 56) contains a typographical error in the sentence “S. minutus is possibly the smallest Miocene ape yet discovered, with a smaller M 1 than any of the known Micropithecus specimens.” This sentence was meant to refer to the size of M 2 , not M 1 . As written, it is a false statement that conflicts with the correct measurements and comparative statements made elsewhere in the paper. It should read “S. minutus is possibly the smallest Miocene ape yet discovered, with a smaller M 2 than any of the known Micropithecus specimens.” Additionally, on page 52 “S. cheptumoae” was misspelled as “S. cheptuomae”.
