Corrigendum to “A new species of Simiolus from the middle Miocene of the Tugen Hills, Kenya” [(Journal of Human Evolution (2018) 125 (50–58), (S0047248417302270), (10.1016/j.jhevol.2018.09.002)]

Rossie and Hill (2018: 56) contains a typographical error in the sentence “S. minutus is possibly the smallest Miocene ape yet discovered, with a smaller M ¹ than any of the known Micropithecus specimens.” This sentence was meant to refer to the size of M ² , not M ¹ . As written, it is a false statement that conflicts with the correct measurements and comparative statements made elsewhere in the paper. It should read “S. minutus is possibly the smallest Miocene ape yet discovered, with a smaller M ² than any of the known Micropithecus specimens.” Additionally, on page 52 “S. cheptumoae” was misspelled as “S. cheptuomae”.
