Covariance Velocity Map Imaging Measurements of Strong Field Double Ionization

Abstract

We carry out strong field d ouble i onization m easurements o f deuterated formaldehyde using covariance velocity map imaging. Comparing our measurements with trajectory surface hopping calculations, we find that we produce a surprising distribution of dicationic states.
