Abstract

The importance of critical statistics in quantum chaos and Calogero-sutherland (CS) model at finite temperature was studied. Critical statistics was explained by the spectral properties of a generalized Gaussian orthogonal ensemble. The article presented a one-parameter ensemble of symmetric random matrices. The spectral correlations of complex quantum systems with a self-similar or fractal Poincaré section of its classical counterpart was described by the random matrix model.
