Abstract
This chapter presents a compilation of maintenance protocols with their different strengths. In addition, introduces the concept of the Base Reference Values or BRV’s that should be evaluated at the moment of the implant restoration delivery and in each follow-up visit. The chapter ends with a sumary of the recommendations by Bidra et al [6 and 7], and a strong recommendation to include in the maintenance visits records of the patient outcomes parameters (function, satisfaction, and quality of life).
