Abstract

Cyber Physical Systems must provide continuous and accurate monitoring of physical environments. An important challenge is data acquisition through groups of mobile agents to optimize monitoring. This paper proposes a novel, asynchronous interaction scheme between agents to maximize the utility of the acquired data. Experiments study the effectiveness of the scheme in comprehensive data acquisition while minimizing redundant data collection.
