Abstract
Sensitivity, detective quantum efficiency (DQE), and modulation transfer function (MTF) of direct conversion X-ray sensors were analyzed. The X-ary sensitivity of pixellated X-ray detectors depended on the mobility and lifetime product of charges. The measurement of presampling MTF of the prototype detector revealed an additional source of blurring.
