N2 - Correlation of changes in bone mineral density in the human lumbar spine, femoral neck and greater trochanter, against total duration of exposure to a 30 Hz, 0.2 g mechanical loading over a one year period (range of 2000-9000 seconds), demonstrates a strong positive relationship between treatment duration and inhibition of bone loss (p<0.05). These results suggest the lack of a saturation response in skeletal tissue for low level dynamic mechanical loading.
