Abstract

This letter devises a generalized eigenanalysis methodology for time-delayed networked microgrids (NMs) incorporating heterogeneous delays. The main contributions include: 1) it devises a universal delayed dynamic model for NMs under distributed control; 2) it quantifies the impacts of heterogeneous delays on NMs stability through an ODE-SOD-based eigensolver; 3) it offers insights into the effects of cyber and physical interconnections on NMs' stability performance. The efficiency and efficacy of the delayed eigananalysis are thoroughly validated on our high-fidelity, real-time RTDS models for NMs.
