Abstract

304 and 316 stainless steels were implanted with phosphorus at 40 keV or with boron at 25 keV to a fluence of 1 multiplied by 10**1**7 to form amorphous surface alloys. The modification of the corrosion properties of the steels was monitored by dynamic polarization. (Edited author abstract. )
