Abstract

The silver vanadium phosphorous oxide Ag2VO2PO4 has been established to be a viable cathode material for lithium primary cells. In addition, further research with this and additional members of the material family of mixed metal phosphorous oxides (MM'POs) holds promise for next generation high power battery applications.
