Abstract
We discuss the aymptotic behavior of elastic scattering amplitudes at fixed angles, and show how Sudakov effects may be taken into account systematically. The resulting expressions involve integrals over the separations of independent hard elastic scatterings of the Landshoff type. Their behavior is close to the dimensional counting result, as anticipated by Mueller.
