Geometrical methods in the quantum theory of fields and strings

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

This lecture is divided into two parts. In the first part we review the application of index theory and differential topology to the understanding of local and global anomalies. In the second part we review some recent applications of algebraic geometry to unravel the structure of multiloop string diagrams.
