Abstract

We present calculations of event-by-event gluon multiplicities and energy densities within the glasma model by solving classical Yang-Mills equations. The model naturally yields negative binomial fluctuations of multiplicities and energies. We further present results for the average eccentricities of the glasma initial state and compare them to another Color-Glass-Condensate based model.
