Abstract

A new DNA polymerase activity was isolated and partially characterized from the purified nuclear fraction of cultured human KB cells. The physical and chemical properties of this enzyme which was designated DNA polymerase N3 define it as a unique entity that can be distinguished from the several classes of eukaryotic D DNA and R DNA polymerase activity that have been recognized to date.
