Abstract
We construct a conformally invariant theory of the N=1 supersymmetric tensor gauge multiplet and discuss the situation in N=2. We show that our results give rise to the recently proposed variant of Poincaré supergravity, and provide the complete tensor calculus for the theory. Finally, we argue that this theory cannot be quantized sensibly.
