Abstract
The authors compared the nature of the anodic films formed on two Fe based alloys. Structural analysis found evidence of totally non-crystalline films and films composed of crystalline and non-crystalline components. Structural and compositional modifications were also affected by the addition of molybdenum to the base alloy and by the nature of the anions in the electrolyte.
