Abstract
A cDNA clone for rat liver 6-phosphofructo 2-kinase/fructose 2,6-bisphosphatase was isolated from a λgtll rat liver expression library by antibody screening. The clone was approximately 1100 bases in length and the derived amino acid sequence contained 303 residues at the carboxyl end of the subunit. This derived amino acid sequence corresponded exactly with the actual amino acid sequence of the enzyme determined by direct sequencing of the protein.
