Lessons from graduate school

The views related to learning process of students while doing PhD are discussed. It is believed that textbook centered learning tends to shape an undergraduate's view of physics itself. It is important for students to choose supervisor with the same level of care as with area of research. What is most important about the PhD training process is learning successfully to act in the complex and constantly changing lab environment.
