Abstract

We report a new measurement of the branching ratio for the decay τ-→e-vevτ. The data were taken with the High Resolution Spectrometer at the PEP e+e- colliding beam facility operating at √s = 29 GeV. The result is B(τ- →e-v = (17.0±0.5±0.6)%.
