abstract = "Oil and gas operations contribute on the order of 31\% (according to EPA) to the portion of methane emissions due to human activities. Identifying and localizing these emission sources requires continued development of better sensing modalities. We present a sensor network and cloud based methods for detecting, localizing, and quantifying methane leaks with a focus on natural gas fracking sites. The sensor network is designed for year round remote autonomous operation and includes methane and wind sensing abilities.",
