Abstract
For the blood flow measurement with ultrasonic Doppler effect, especially in a small region, it was usually difficult to obtain satisfactory results because of the spreading of ultrasonic beam. In this paper, a new method for measuring blood flow velocity with a convergent probe of Doppler ultrasound is described. The calculation and the structure of the probe are given. Finally some of the experimental results have been reported. The instrument is now being used in clinic.
