Abstract

In this paper, we consider sectorized multibeam cellular mobile communications with dynamic channel assignment to beams. Network performance for space-division multiple access (SDMA) based on channel reuse between beams is investigated. We use a model to calculate theoretical traffic performance characteristics of the proposed system including call-blocking probability and carried traffic.
