Abstract
Hydatid disease is an ecchinococcal infestation which involves the liver and lungs frequently and brain, heart and bone, rarely. Cerebral hydatid cyst generally co-exist with other visceral involvement. A 5-years old serologically negative patient with neurological and radiological signs of cerebral involvement is presented as rare primary cerebral hydatid cyst due to absence of hydatid cyst in any other organ.
