Abstract
We study neutral composite fermions in QED2 as a simple but exactly solvable model of fermions substructure. We find that the two-point function for a neutral fermion does not exhibit a pole in momentum space, and hence the neutral composite fermion operator does not create an asymptotic state. A correlation inequality is also derived. Implications for composite fermion models are discussed.
