Abstract

63Cu NMR measurements of the YBa2Cu3O7-δ (δ = 0 to 0.8) compound in 8.5 and 11.7 Tesla magnetic fields show that both planes and chains are metallic and superconductive with a complicated gap structure. The chains show partial octahedral oxygen ordering at high temperatures and magnetic ordering in the tetragonal phase.
