Abstract

A novel method for detection of closely spaced sinusoids in noise is proposed. It is based on the notch periodogram and a simple detection criterion. Compared with other well-known approaches, this method does not require precise estimation of the signal parameters and is not computationally intensive. Simulation results are included, and they show excellent performance of the method.
