Abstract

New antimony sulphides have been synthesized and the crystal structure of one of these, Cs₆Sb₁₀S₁₈·1.2H ₂O, has been determined to be two dimensional in nature, accommodating Cs⁺ ions and the Sb³⁺ Ione pairs in cavities within an open framework.
