Abstract

We compute the photon emission rate at Next to Leading Order (NLO), i.e., through order ^g2_{m D}/T ~ ^g3, in high temperature non-abelian plasmas. The NLO correction is of roughly of order 10% for _αs ≃ 0.3 and is approximately independent of the photon momentum.
