Abstract
Primate conservation is a field of acknowledged need but often undefined practice. With conservation efforts aimed at the protection and perpetuation of primate species across the globe, reaching audiences even beyond primate-range countries, primate conservation is well situated to impact both humans and nonhuman primates alike. Approaches to primate conservation as well as foundational underpinnings are covered here in addition to noted challenges and directions for future expansion and improvement.
