Abstract

The circulation of probability flux for the state transition lattice of Markovian queueing networks is investigated. The lattice circulation of product form networks decomposes into isolated circulations. The duality between local balance and isolated circulations is examined. Examples include a multiprocessor model and tandem queue models.
