Abstract

This study aimed to quantify cerebral autoregulation (CA) in patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) (n=11) and healthy controls (n=14) using near-infrared spectroscopy. Patients and volunteers performed paced breathing and frequency-dependent phase differences were compared.
