Abstract

The reproduction of quantized pulses by a single Josephson junction was analyzed previously neglecting the nonlinearities of the source of the input signal and its load. In many cases (for example, in RSQ-logic circuits) such a simplification gives results that are too rough. In order to take into account such nonlinearities, the process of reproduction of pulses in a uniform resistively coupled chain of JJ (neuristor line) is studied. At locations where reproduction should or should not occur, depending on the state of the logic element (controllable reproduction), it seems best to improve the operation by employing JJ as resistive-inductive couplings.
