Abstract

This article describes the successful reconstruction of a failed attempt at a secondary ureteropyelostomy after necrosis of a distal transplant ureter, by the use of a Boari flap. Excellent reestablishment of urinary tract continuity in the transplant recipient was achieved with the use of this procedure.
