Abstract

Ongoing research work of SACST and applications in robotics and human-augmented systems is presented. Integrating MEMS technology with contact theory and intelligent-control technique, the SACST can alter behaviors of contact surfaces based upon robotics theories. The next-generation SACST technology will integrate intelligent operation systems and control with actuators and sensors.
