Shaped ultrafast laser pulses in the deep ultraviolet

Abstract

We use an acousto-optic pulse shaper to programmably control the phase and amplitude of femtosecond laser pulses in the deep ultraviolet (260 nm). These pulses will be used in molecular coherent control experiments.
