N2 - The thorough study of coherent electron cooling, the modern cooling technique capableto deal with accelerators operating in the range of few TeVs [1], raises many interestingquestions. One of them is a shielding dynamics of a hadron in an electron beam. Now thiseffect is computed analytically in the infinite beam approximation [2]. Many effects aredrastically different in finite and infinite plasmas. Here we propose a method to computethe dynamical shielding effect in a finite cylindrical plasma1 - the realistic model of anelectron beam in accelerators.
