Solution of N = 2 Gauge Theory

Abstract

Low-energy effective action of the N = 2 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory with the gauge group U(N) is calculated by doing an explicit instanton sum. In particular, we present a microscopic derivation of the Seiberg-Witten curve.
