Abstract
The simulation of high intensity accelerators was performed by solving the Poisson equation and the calculation of space charge forces present in the acceleration chamber walls. The Poisson problem was reduced to two-and-a-half dimensions for long particle bunches, and the results were applied to the tracking code Orbit. Parallel computing was performed with parallel computers having many nodes using the paradigm of message passing interface (MPI).
