Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

String field theory (SFT) is the second-quantized approach to string theory. In the usual, first-quantized, formulation of string perturbation theory, one postulates a recipe for the string S-matrix in terms of a sum over two-dimensional (2D) world sheets embedded in spacetime.
