Abstract
Single-crystal X-ray structure refinements are reported for one ideally ordered and two partially disordered dolomites. The process of cation disordering is analysed. Disorder is predicted to be complete by 1150oC, but reordering during quenching precluded recovery of a completely disordered sample.-J.A.Z.
