Abstract

In this report, the I-U characteristic of the heterostructure α-Si/c-Si has been studied and the oscillations that appear in the non linear region are presented. These non linear phenomena in combination with the observed switching and the small size of the device consist very important advantages that make it useful both for scientific purposes and applications in microelectronics.
