Abstract

A simple method for the synthesis of molybdenum oxide (MaO3) nanoplatelets during crystallization of the precursor gel from its hybrid nanocomposites was analyzed. The method used the combination of the surfactant-inorganic self-assembly process and host-guest intercalation chemistry to obtain anisotropic crystallization of the molybdenum oxide directly.
