Abstract

Unbalanced surface stresses, induced in stereocomplex crystals formed by blends of two enantiomeric polylactide diblock copolymers by the presence of immiscible blocks of different lengths, result in lamella curving and formation of onion-like multilamellar structures (see picture for schematic structure and a TEM image). (Figure Presented).
